A Brief History Of JonBenet Ramsey...
History... Not "His-Story"

JonBenet Ramsey was formed in Jello molds in fall of 1999 by MaggotEater and D.J. Downey Syndro with the intention of only doing one performance at a coffee house at California University. Due to the enthusiasm of the audience, MaggotEater and D.J. Downey Syndro removed the other members and got to work on creating the sickest band in the world. JonBenet Ramsey's sound was inspired by various acts such as, Frank Zappa, Incantation, Paineater, Shitscum, Autopsy, Judas Priest, Pungent Stench, Manowar, Nunslaughter, The Zitheads, and Hideous Mangleus (To name a few). In order to obtain this musical style, MaggotEater began to search for new band members, but after various attempts in late 1999, a guitarist could not be discovered leaving MaggotEater to find a back up vocalist to fill in for the parts that MaggotEater couldn't accomplish. Maggoteater, being a huge fan of the legendary grind core band Hideous Mangleus, asked their singer Sam Biles to help out. Sam's contribution to the band aided them in releasing their first CD "We Are Live... And Your Daughter Is Dead". MaggotEater recieved a bootleg of a show JonBenet Ramsey did at the Stinky Bowel Movement Club in PA and contacted LATEX SOLAR BeeF Productions and they decided to release a digitally remastered version of the bootleg under the title "We Are Live... And Your Daughter Is Dead". "We Are Live... And Your Daughter Is Dead" was released in the summer 2001 and shortly after, MaggotEater, D.J. Downey Syndro, and Sam Biles were asked by LATEX SOLAR BeeF Productions to record a studio album. MaggotEater knew something big was about to happen so he searched out and found old bandmate and friend Mikey Goat Raper whom had worked with MaggotEater as the guitarist for Vile Regurgitation, a death metal act that MaggotEater was in from 1997-2000. LATEX SOLAR BeeF told JonBenet Ramsey that they had a very limited amount of time to record their first studio release because LATEX SOLAR BeeF studios was relocating and they weren't sure how long it would be till they were functional again. The brothers of sickness hit the studio in later summer of 2001 and recorded "DaughterSlaughter". At this point, D.J. Downey Syndro decided that he could no longer tour with JonBenet Ramsey because he became too frustrated on stage. In order to tour for the "DaughterSlaughter" release, MaggotEater began to search for drummers who could accomplish the JonBenet Ramsey sound. McBrizzide from The Sarcastics was MaggotEater's first choice and he accepted the offer, but shortly after he left the band because MaggotEater joked with him about jumping on his drum kit during a performance and urinating all over it. JonBenet Ramsey were forced to work with a total of 7 different drummers during the "DaughterSlaughter" tour due to the incident with McBrizzide. In Fall of 2002 JonBenet Ramsey went back to the studio to record their third release, "You Said Your Daddy Touched You Even Though He Didn't. (That Means You Are Fucked Up!)". At this time Sam Biles informed them that he would have to take an indefinate departure from the band to work with Goblin, a band he had been putting together for several years. Since the first two albums did not have bass, MaggotEater enlisted Vomit Spray to provide bass on "You Said Your Daddy Touched You Even Though He Didn't. (That Means You Are Fucked Up!)". Vomit Spray recorded the album, but left shortly after because he was not as devoted to JonBenet Ramsey as MaggotEater was and he wanted to plant a garden. During the time "You Said Your Daddy Touched You Even Though He Didn't. (That Means You Are Fucked Up!)" was being recorded, a friend of the band whose name we are reluctant to mention, made a tape of surplus material that we gave him consisting of radio interviews, soundchecks, rehearsals, and other items. Some of the material on the tape was recorded on 9/11 and he released the tape with a picture of the airplane crashing into the World Trade Center as the cover and titled it "It's Funny Because It Is Not Me". JonBenet Ramsey recieved very negative feedback from people, but the fans loved it. JonBenet Ramsey was not responsible for that tape's release in any way. In the summer of 2002, after the release of "You Said Your Daddy Touched You Even Though He Didn't. (That Means You Are Fucked Up!)", JonBenet Ramsey rerecorded what they felt to be their best songs off of the first three releases and included it on their latest release entitled "Vagina Split", which is a split CD with the Pittsburgh band Ragweed. JonBenet Ramsey would like to extend a thanks to all of their supporters over the years and to all past members of JonBenet Ramsey who have helped make all of this possible.
